ENCLOSED FILL STATION SINGLE CYLINDER FILL ENCLOSURE, 5000 PSI
The PTE-1 Cylinder Fill Enclosure fills one cylinder at a time.
This explosion proof enclosure provides increased safety, only operating
when the door is closed. Designed to contain the destructive force
of accidental cylinder rupture or hose failure, While allowing the
air blast to be vented quickly and in a direction away from the

THIS FILL STATION CONSISTS OF:
A safety interlock prevents SCBA or SCUBA filling unless the front
access door is completely closed and locked in place. The carriage
design tilts toward the operator whenever the door is opened.
This facilitates loading and unloading cylinders and minimizes operator
fatigue. Teflon slides protect cylinder from scuffing.
The fill hose is designed for easy connection inside the enclosure.

The HPE4500-1 cylinder fill enclosure will fill 1 cylinder at a
time. The HPE4500-2 cylinder fill enclosure will fill 2 cylinders
at a time. These enclosures provide increased safety during the
filling process, only operating when their doors are closed and
locked. (Reference CGA pamphlet G-7-1989, Compressed Air for Human
Respiration, Section 7 and NFPA 1901-71, 1999 Edition, 23.9 thru
23.9.4.2). .
These units feature 1/2 thick steel doors with safety interlocks
and a 1/4 steel tilting cylinder holders, which makes loading and
unloading easy. Teflon slides on the steel cylinder holders protect
cylinders from scuffing. Fill hoses are designed for easy connection
and inside the enclosures for increased safety.

The construction of these units consist of an inner drawer of
1/4 steel plate on 4 sides with an additional 1/4 plate door to
provide 1/2 protection at the front. The outer cabinet is 1/4
steel plate on four sides, this gives 1/2 steel protection on all
four sides. Allowing the most protection available in a single cylinder
containment.
